Omg finally beat cloud 5 and onto void!!
I was stuck on cloud 5 for a long time and needed lots of help from solutions.
Hint for getting the red back:
Push it far enough with green using tail hooked downwards until you can extract it.Further hint:
There is some tricky movements before you can make the P shape to lower red to the ground.How to escape with red? I can escape with green and yellow but i cannot take red out Any tips?
I’m stuck before reaching this point. I can get a fruit with green, then one with red, but I can’t extract red…

Actually, I AM using custom CSS for primarily 1 thing lol. It’s for the transparent header. I had to set the background color (BG 2) to transparent, set some elements to have the target brown color, then a bunch of small fixes for the gaps in the boundaries. If I didn’t do all of this, the header would also have the brown background color. There are a few ideas to get almost the same affect, but I wanted the clouds and the header to be on different layers.
Oh, right! I noticed after posting that comment that there _was_ some CSS trickery going on. I forgot about the background color stuff! Either way, it looks spectacular.
I'm still stuck on snow 2.

try thinking about what the big hole in the middle is forI know there's a couple different orientations. Going down the hole ends the run, going up and falling in lets you eat the pear, same as coming from the side and going up and falling in.
In either case aren't you just stuck as soon as you eat the pear? and by eating the banana to free the one in the hole, the banana one is now stuck?
I've also been thinking about an orientation that lets you push the snake in a spot other than their face, but I can't seem to make one work...

You need to avoid the middle spike while making the UUR hookZ
Put tail on that small crevice (2x)If You look at the image below the links to the real snakebird, you’ll find what looks like to be a snekburd level. Solve it in the least amount of steps and input its solution on level A, and you’ll unlock every single level in the game.

Alright, all I need to 100% the game now is help with the two levels from the right of the final area, and the secret level variants.
I can reach the right side of level Y without much issue, but I don’t know how to be in a position to raise up the little birdie, despite knowing both techniques.
As for level Z, I really don’t like shuffling snakebirds in cramped spaces, it just annoys me.
And the secret ? levels just leave me completely bamboozled, like how are some of these possible???
It kind of pissed me off that the hint for the secret level was entirely useless (most of the hints in that comment were unhelpful) so I’ll drop this here.

As my first itch.io post, I have no idea on how to post images on this site, and yes, I read the hint, I know how to make green fit inside the elevator, but I don't know how to fit both red and green into the elevator, or if there's another way of doing this

First you need to find the shape that when the block move left, it doesn't fall, then eat the apple, then find that position again but you should be able to push it again and go underneath (basically like 48 but upside-down)There’s a secret puzzle?
Right after the link to the steam game, there's an image of what looks like a snekburd level. If you hover your mouse on that image, it tells you to beat the level in the least amount of inputs, and then input them on level A.

From that position:
Undo 2 move, then push the block right. And then push it right again until it fall into the pit.I though that it would be to push it there, but i completely forgot that you can be 1 block lower and then you do have enough length. It was actually really easy, I was just stupid :)
I'm stuck on cloud 2. I know how to get the yellow on the purple, but I don't know how to get the purple back. My best attempt was something like this:

I can get to here, but "ratcheting up" doesn't seem to work because the head of the yellow bird always meets the red bird.
Another level to solve first is a fine hint if it should contain what I need to figure out.

I think you need get the red birds tail in the top hole but I'm not really sure how to get it there

You need the green and blue birds' tails to be in the hole and get red to stand on the fruit. The rest you should manipulate in order to get red to safety after eating the fruit, then escorting the others to the portal.Any help on 33? after you collect the left side fruits, there is a new way to go up that involves the blue bird on the lowest row of the elevatorWow. I didn’t expect that 33 solution to work.
32 I still don’t understand, and also there are 5 fruits and one candy..? I’m mainly struggling to get the snakes to the right side, but I also can’t really think of a concept that can be lifted by one snake.

I did mean 1-2-7. You will make a tall C shape with the longest bird that contains the 2 and 1.omg those two vehicles were so satisfying to make and have it work! Thank you so much! I ended up figuring the manoeuvre to make the C shape work, as I originally ruled that out due to the misconception of having the snake loop around be impossible. I didn’t expect the horizontal vehicle to work so well, and it took me quite a bit of thinking until I remembered bird mechanics.

You’re too late. As green eats the fruits near the pillars, you should be able to find a way to move red up 1 space per fruit

managed to move up once, idk how to move up more than that though because I have to push the flying bird down after eating the second fruit :/

it doesn’t seem possible to be in a 2x4 position ??? and it wouldn’t be possible to go back anyways… except if it was entirely under the fruit, either way doesn’t seem useful.

Level B teaches that gravity triggers after the snake moves. Also sorry about the 2x4 thing, I was trying to make it a bit less obvious instead of just giving away the answer.

seems to happen sometimes on mobile, or on pc when chrome isnt updated. people tend to have better luck with saving on the lexaloffle page than itch, though i suspect this is a weird chrome security policy about filesystem use when its behind on security updates

You do need your lengths like shown, but with blue in the same position wrap the red around the underside of the spike (LLU)

You don't need to keep the green snake's head on the platform. Even with the green snake head left of the spike, green is still recoverable after you save red and the block.

It says in the description “(z,x,c,v also select on the level selection screen.)”. Also those + arrow keys as far as I know are the only ones you can use in PICO-8

Utilizing the hint, the only first fruit I can get is fruit 2 [counting from left] with red then recovering it using green. But after that I can't find any moves.
I just solved it after reading your comment! Here’s a hint if you still need it:

After eating the 2nd fruit (again, counting from left), go and eat the fourth one.Then eat the 1st fruit. If you need it:

No, as mobile Pico-8 lacks imputs. So undo and swap have to be main imputs
i don’t get it..? do x and v always have to be the exact same input or what?
X and V can do multiple things. But only with certain directions (or when in menus)

yeah some other people have had trouble with that in a bad way. ive told werxzy to make an edit to that level to reduce frustration back on may 8th but he hasnt responded, probably busy with something.

add a wall 3 left and 1 down of the exit, to make it more obvious some wrong ideas will never workI havent even started the game yet, but I have to say this web page is incredible <3

This fruit has been giving me trouble, this is the only solution I know that can grab it and get the Burd unstuck, but it's incorrect because both Burds need to be the same size to escape.
I was having the same problem, and I figured the same as you. but cannot beat the level.

I am so proud of myself for getting level 3 in the snow area, i love how you can break all known laws of physics and just move the other bird by pushing it while on top of it
